Marketing Communications Specialist

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible of defining and implementing all offline communication, including copy development and public relations, in order to ensure that all brand strategies and objectives are effectively communicated to media, prospects and target audiences. The Specialist will also be responsible of defining and implementing partnership and sponsorship plans and activities, including the research and agreements with testimonials and brand ambassadors.

The Marketing Communications Specialist:

• Contributes to the definition and implementation of strategic communication plans, deciding on the most effective tools, channels and contents for defined company objectives;
• coordinates an internal team as well as external professionals/agencies, in order to design and produce promotional and informative material to be used at fairs, exhibitions, conventions and events, ensuring all is compliant to brand standards;   
• creates and maintains media relations, both directly and through Italian and international press offices;
• defines and implements partnership/sponsorship plans with extreme sports testimonials, sports events, and/or ONG’s, compliant to the brand image; defines and implements the offline and online communication activities related to those partnerships, in cooperation with the web marketing manager;
• organizes events.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing / Communications or a related field;
• 5 to 10 year-experience in a corporate communication department of contemporary brands;
• Knowledge of all major B2C communication and marketing strategies and all major web and social channels;
• Fluent English;  
• Project Management skills;
• Relationship and communication skills;
• Must be result-oriented, flexible, autonomous and with a strong team working attitude
